Took a 30 minute / 20 degrees walk in the tonight with my tripod and camera, wanting to shoot a few night shots in the snow. Ended up snapping this one of two vehicles crossing paths around a curve on Westerville Road. Pretty crazy that this was a 13 second exposure. The roads are much better than they were on the way home, when my normal 10 minute drive turned into a 30 minute crawl.

Was running out to grab a treat for Marla and I (and a movie), and opened the camera up for 1/8th of a second at the end of our street while vehicles were crossing in front of me. I need to go out and intentionally shoot some light trails sometime!

Had a meeting late this evening on Broad St. near downtown Columbus. It’s become a habit for the camera bag to ride everywhere with me, and sometimes even the tripod (needed it tonight). Left the lens open for 8 seconds and had a large moving truck drive by. Enjoyed first shot at shooting Light Trails.
