Ava (our middle daughter) and I sure are tired after an afternoon of fort building. The other two girls helped us for the first 45 minutes or so, but Ava wasn’t going to stop until her fort was completed. It’s always fun seeing different personalities / traits God gives to each child in a unique way. We had a fun dad-to-daughter chat on where hard work will take you inside of our finished fort.

Funny stuff – that is the finished product. I was a bit tired once we got the wall built around the 10 foot area, and the snow wasn’t packing like yesterday.

I love the look of triumph! (And I really like how the slide goes right into the fort. Great idea.) And thanks for sharing the story. It’s a nice reminder for parents to look for those moments for one-on-one connection with our individual kids.
