Had a meeting late this evening on Broad St. near downtown Columbus. It’s become a habit for the camera bag to ride everywhere with me, and sometimes even the tripod (needed it tonight). Left the lens open for 8 seconds and had a large moving truck drive by. Enjoyed first shot at shooting Light Trails.

Very nice!
Awesome!!!
Gabe…did your f stop really go to 38? wouldn’t it be a lot lower than that to let the light in…I’d love to try this sometime…
Colleen – Checked the EXIF and the 5-6 shots I took were all set to have shutter open between 4-8 seconds. And with each I had the camera set to auto (not aperture or shutter), and the f stop showed always above 30. Odd, since I just turned on the camera and could only crank f to 22 on aperture priority mode.
So, so cool.
Colleen – now that I look back at the photo, it’s not possible that I had it set to auto mode. Tried a test this morning with light, must have used shutter priority. The f stop on the display read HI. Sorry for the confusion. Commenting when I’m tired isn’t a good idea.
