Don’t ask me now (guessing other photogs probably have some insight), but I snapped maybe 15 pictures of the moon tonight and 1/2 of them turned out blue while the other 1/2 turned out normal / white. Walked out of our Digital Disciples gathering tonight here in Columbus and knew right away what my photo for the day was going to be! Obiously had to use a tripod + wireless remote shutter for the clarity.

Well, looky there. God gave us a moon in my favorite colors. Nice.
Absolutley one of the best pics I’ve ever seen of the moon! It’s beautiful..I love it;) Thanks I needed this tonight!
Thanks for stopping by, Heather! Glad you enjoyed the photo.
This is funny – Devin shot a picture of the moon for his photo last night too. Reminds me a little of the song “Somewhere Out There”
Funny, since when I walked out of the meeting the moon was orange/red on the horizon! God & his technicolor paintbrushes!
Cool picture! Love the color. Was your white balance on Auto? That could have caused it to guess corectly sometimes and not on others. Anyways very cool! enjoying following along.
Actually, I’m pretty sure I measured the white balance manually. I turned the camera off once though, so it could have been manual for this one.
