Every few weeks or months I have to pull out the socket wrench and put the driver’s side window in my 2000 Honda Civic EX back into the slot. For some reason it just likes to pop out and not let me roll it up or down. At least I’ve got it down to a 20 minute routine now. Unscrew 12 screws and remove door cover, unscrew window from sliding tray, slide window back into slot, screw window into sliding tray, put the 12 screws back in place for the door cover. I guess that’s what I get for not buying an Accord.

I have own two Honda Civic’s. A 2000 Honda Civic Si and a 2000 Honda Civic DX Hatch. The window issue is due to the glide track not having enough lube. Get a can of silicone from your local auto store. Break down the door like normal and spray the rubber lining ont he track with the window rolled up. Also add a washer to the bolt if needed. The silicone help mine for alot longer than just placing it back in everytime. Hope that helps bro!
