Salted pumpkin seeds
The three girls and I cut open our three pumpkins this evening and pulled out hundreds of seeds. It’s one of my favorite things to do all year, and it’s fun each year to hear the girls talk about how slimy all of the “goo” is that we have to dig through. It’s all worth it after Marla cooks them up using a few different recipes. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Livi (our oldest) as anxious as she was tonight. Mom…..will some of the seeds be ready before we have to go to bed?

I really don’t get how this can be one of your favorite things to do all year when it’s one of my LEAST favorites. But I’ll admit those look yummy–and tasted pretty delicioso too!

I’m sorry but those things look nasty!

    You actually eat those?

Have you ever tried eating homemade cooked pumpkin seeds Peter? If not, you have to try them before leaving a comment like that, LOL.
