They’re all the rave with girls these days, if you haven’t heard yet. Silly Bandz are animal-shaped rubber bands that retain their shape, even if you wear them. The girls enjoy trading them with their friends at school, and order special sets off of the internet.

Don’t they pull at the tiny hairs on their arms? I had one of those fatter word bands and it drove me nuts.

My cousins (9 and 12) will be keeping these people in business for a while, too. The only difference is that they’re usually wearing about twice as many!
