The spring sunset here in Ohio is really bright some evenings. Marla was preparing herself some asparagus for supper (I opted for chicken), and I thought I would let it bake in the sun for a few seconds. Bright sunlight mixed with bright green vegetable = pretty vibrant photo for today. Looks sweet, but I still won’t eat it.

I spent the 1st 14 yrs of my life in Ohio, and mom grew asparagus. When I was little, I’d wait for the first stalk to look ripe & pick it and take it in to her and say “cook it”. This is not only a great picture but it makes me hungry for some fresh asparagus.
That picture is awesome. And you totally missed out.
YUM.
