Marla is publishing her first ebook this coming week (after four published books), so I told her that I was picking up either the Kindle or Nook for her – so she could decide which she wanted. She REALLY wasn’t too thrilled to purchase one (she loves to read traditional books), but since I was spending my money and giving her a gift that definitely helped. So off we went to Best Buy, and she decided on the Nook Color. The main factors that led to the choice were the touchscreen + color screen. Excited to convert her writing over and get this new book online for people to read!

I like the Nook, too. I think it has way more functionality than the Kindle. Solid choice.
